Trusting God in the Middle

Have you ever believed God for something? Maybe a new job, a home or a new business? I can speak from personal experience and say there have been plenty of times I prayed and cried, asking God to give me answers and more resources.

Recently, I had a dream that shook me to my very core. It stayed with me for days and I kept thinking about it. In the dream I saw myself walking down a hallway and to my right was a swimming pool. The hallway was on a floor above the pool. A I kept walking I looked to my right and saw my daughter on the other side of a fence. She was preparing to dive into the pool. I have to stop here and let you know that I don't know how to swim. So in the dream I panicked, trying to convince her not to jump.

As mothers when it comes to the well being of our children we let nothing get in the way. In the dream I moved closer to the fence hoping to grab her and bring her to the other side with me. But before I could grab her she turned to me and gave me a big smile. She wanted to let me know she was going to be okay. In that brief moment I felt my own fear disappear.

Before I knew it she had jumped into the swimming pool. In a quick second I saw her feet floating in the water, I ran downstairs. When I reach her downstairs life guards are checking to make sure she's okay. As I lay eyes on my daughter I see her smiling. It was as if God was telling me know not worry.

I share this dream because I believe God wants you to know, you can trust Him.

No matter if you're in the middle of a job loss, starting a new business, writing a book, or just trying something new. There is no need to fear. God is with you and He will not let you drown.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Be encouraged and know that you can trust God!
