Do you have time?

As a mom, making time to write can seem impossible. I know what it's like to have a million and one things to do in one day. I feel you! I get it. No matter if you are a working mom or a stay at home mom, time is valuable. It's not that putting off time with your family or watching an episode from one of your favorite shows is really what you want to do.

Do you sometimes feel like:

  • You never have time

  • You're not good at time management

  • You are a procrastinator

  • Chores (laundry, cooking, etc) always have to be done

  • You love being a mom and you love writing

The truth is even if any of these things are a reality for you, there are a few things you can do to make time for writing. Here are six things you can do now to start writing.

1) Write in short spurts 30 min a day

2) Pick a time of day (mornings, lunchtime, night, during dinner time)

3) If not 30 min spend 15 min or 10 min writing

4) Use checklists

5) Create a writing schedule

6) Find a quiet place to write kid-free

Mommies, use these six tips to start writing and remember you can do it!
